More Info

  • The ski season usually starts in late November and runs through April or into May. Our kiosk is usually staffed Dec - Mar.

  • Trail fees always apply. Outside of kiosk hours, purchase your pass online or use the self-pay envelopes in the big red mailbox by the kiosk or the black dropbox at the Biathlon trailhead.

  • View the GPS grooming map or Snow Forecast weather report for Red Mountain (bottom) for trailhead conditions (~1150 m).

  • For Biathlon conditions (~1450 m), see the B.C. Highway webcam at Strawberry Pass or Snow Forecast weather report for Red Mountain (mid)

  • During the ski season, cabins are available for use by all BJSC members. Commercial use is not permitted. While private bookings are not permitted, members can email info@skiblackjack.ca to check for capacity concerns with use by other groups of members.

  • Please note:

    • Dogs are only allowed on Richie's Loop, Little Rock, and the top of Expresso. Their minders need to be on skis. 

    • Fat bikes and snowshoes are not allowed on any groomed Black Jack trails. For Winter 2022/23, Mxiɬp Xewílh (Cedar) trail is being maintained by RMBS and is open to other users. Learn more about our Winter Trail Use Agreement.



Getting Here

Driving Directions From Rossland BC:

  • From intersection of Hwy 22 and 3B head north for 4.5km.

  • Turn Right onto Mann Road.

  • Drive for 900m, turn left on Campbell Road

  • Parking lot and Clubhouse are on right.
