Solid Results at World Juniors

Despite having most of the team and wax techs battling with stints of flu over the last two weeks, Canada is still putting  together some solid performances at the World Junior and U23 Championships.  Zach Holland led the Candian contingent in 24th, and Dahria Beatty and Joey Burton (Overlander Ski Club, Kamlooops) finished 25th in the classic races in Hinterzarten, Germany today. Patrick Stewart-Jones and Rebecca Reid (Black Jack Cross Country Ski Club, Rossland) also had top 1/2 of the field placings, both coming 31st.

The remaining Canadians were: Marlis Krom 50th, Heidi Widmer 61st  and Andy Shields 60th.
